I, of course, did not think to take pictures of the process, but it's pretty simple, really. I used grilling skewers to hold the pumpkins together. First placing four skewers into the bottom of the middle pumpkin, then inserting them into the bottom pumpkin, then doing the same for the pumpkin's head. Daddy drew a face on the pumpkin, and Charlie practiced his "drawing cir-cols" for making the pumpkin buttons (he also added some special Charlie art, as you can see). We stabbed some branches for arms into the side, and stuck a winter hat on him for those chilly nights. And voila! Pumpkin Snowman!
This guy is amazingly sturdy too - we've had some crazy storms the past week or so, and he hasn't budged! The one thing that has happened with all of the wet weather, is that a bit of mold has started to grow around the spots where the pumpkins were pierced. Ironically, it now just looks like our Pumpkin Snowman has grown a beard, ha!
If you decide to make a pumpkin snowman too, I'd absolutely love to see pictures! Share them on our Facebook page so we can all see the fun variations!
